The School Day
The school office is open from 8.30am-4.00pm each day.
Pupils are not permitted onto the school site before 8.45am in the mornings (unless they are attending Breakfast Club at 7.45am or a sensory circuits session) and should be collected promptly at the end of the school day at 3.15pm (KS1) 3.20pm (KS2) or after a school club.
8.45am: Pupils come onto the school site via the pedestrian gate at the top of Pearse Place. Parents say goodbye here and pupils can proceed straight to their classrooms. Reception pupils can meet their 'Year 6 Buddies' at the pedestrian gate and they will be escorted to their classroom door.
8.45-8.55am: Registration
8.55-9.15am: Morning class work/activities
10.15-10.30am: Assembly
10.30-10.45am: Playtime for all pupils.
(Children will have an allocated snack time within the morning but the time of this will vary with each year groups own timetable)
12.00- 1.00pm: KS1 Lunch Time
12.15- 1.15pm: KS2 Lunch Time
3.15pm: End of the school day for Years R, 1 & 2
3.20pm: End of school day for Years 3, 4, 5 & 6
School Hours Consultation
We are currently consulting with our school community regarding a proposed change to the timings of the school day. Further information will be shared once the consultation process has been completed and a final decision has been made. If you have any question then please contact the school office.
