School Improvement Plan

Priorities for Improvement for 2021-2022

Overall Effectiveness
Safeguarding remains effective and fully embedded in school culture with all policies compliant with statutory guidelines (KCSIE 2021)

Quality of Education (Mr Peter Edgesmith & Mr Andy Gooch)
To ensure that a cumulatively, knowledge rich, coherently planned & sequenced curriculum is in place for all subjects

Behaviour and attitudes (Mrs Pip Caddick & Mrs Lindsay Denning)
To continue to support pupils, staff, parents and governors in our ‘physically and mentally healthy’ school community. Particular focus on the impact of Covid-19 on pupil resilience, aspiration and sense of friendship & community

Personal development (Rev Andrew Axon & Mr Andrew Blamey)
To continue to develop the new Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education curriculum with a particular focus on the development of age appropriate understanding of healthy relationships

Leadership & Management (Mr Peter Edgesmith & Mr James Simpson)
To ensure high, quality, well planned learning which supports the closing of gaps identified as a result of the disruption to education caused by Covid-19 Pandemic

Early Years Provision (Mrs Gayle Turner-Moore)
To develop and embed EYFS curriculum reforms in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (Sept ‘21)
